Dumbo

Today we went to Dumbo and shot along the water as well as in the town- I started off taking a lot of pictures focusing on the various bridges surrounding me though by the end of the shoot I was using the bridges more in the backgrounds of many of my best photos. One part of Dumbo that I think is reflected in my images is the cleanness and modernness of the area compared to other areas of the city such as Chinatown.

These are a few of my post production pictures from an afternoon of shooting in Chinatown- I am beginning to understand how to use Photoshop elements to edit color balance in my pictures and am now using the Manual setting on my camera for pictures. 

Union Square

This is my first photo from the 2010 Parsons Summer Photography program in New York City- This is taken in Union Square with a small amount of color editing on Photoshop.
